When I first start putting my thoughts together for each of my brides and grooms stories which I share below, I like to go through their final gallery multiple times and let their passion; captured in the images; speak for itself to me. And that is exactly what you’re about to read, straight from my heart about the love they share together. And it truly all comes from the One above.

I met Aimee in Spring of 2019 during our first photo-shoot together for her very successful business. (Check out her Instagram @the_mortgagegirlboss)

Aimee has this glow about her that shines through her smile and reaches her eyes. She’s absolutely a stunning woman inside and out, and I’m so happy she has found a gentleman like Devin, that compliments both of them in every way possible, including their Faith. Their love for Jesus Christ is contagious and helps not only their relationship continue to grow closer to Him, but also naturally leads others towards living like Jesus as well, including myself.

Their love together is not something of this world, but much more powerful and beautiful! I can’t image how strong their marriage is going to be, placing God as their #1! I promise you, it’s going to be a testimony to share with their friends, their families, their children, and future generations to come!

|| How They Met ||

From the city that never sleeps, to the quiet streets of the south.

Israel never thought after a move from New York, God would introduce him to his future wife while in their high school years.

During our lives, God moves us, or moves people from our lives. Sometimes it’s easy to accept and sometimes not so much. But in this case, God moved Israel to a different state and into a new high school to bless him with something he was about to learn would change who he was for the rest of his life, a future husband and father!

Which brings us to his beautiful bride-to-be, Whitney, who messaged me inquiring about her upcoming wedding and needing professional photography. I hadn’t even met her in person yet, and I knew she was going to be wonderful to work with! The grace she extends through her messages alone is so transparent and immediately makes her an ideal client to work with! From the beginning, she was so sure to plan out her wedding based off of the time needed to capture all of their moments on their special day! Together, we came up with a draft timeline to help determine how many hours she needed for photography. After drafting the wedding photography timeline, it was time to schedule their engagement shoot which was a moment in the making!

|| The Engagement Session ||

When she and Israel, stepped out of the car the morning of their engagement shoot, their energy was vibrant, and it was 4:45 am on the quiet streets of Washington, D.C!! They NAILED their wardrobe! But outside of what makes a photo shoot successful, they were so calm, collect and willing to go past the limits to capture their passionate moments on this day. After almost 12 years of being together, you can see their hearts are both so humble, and they are prepared to commit their lives to serving each other.
